Do you have a guarantee?

We are confident that we have what you’re looking for! Our Peace of Mind Guarantee is our commitment to you if we are unable to satisfy you with our service, we will credit you for a future service so we can have a chance to get it right!

Do you background check and train your employees?

We conduct comprehensive background checks on our employees to ensure we have the right people on our Team. Additionally, we require extensive hands-on training and continuing education.

Are you insured and bonded?

We maintain comprehensive general liability insurance coverage for your home and pets to ensure your complete peace of mind.

Our exceptional staff undergoes rigorous training and background checks. Additionally, we hold a bonding policy, further safeguarding your home and belongings.

Do you have an app?

Yes, we do. Your online customer portal is available for convenience service request notifications and communication with our leadership team and your care team.

How do you get into my house?

We’re committed to caring for your pets, even in emergencies. That’s why we operate as a keyless company, keeping all access to your home in your hands. You maintain control of your keys and codes.

This approach ensures we can always reach your pets, even in unexpected situations. By relying on door codes, garage codes, and key lockboxes, we guarantee access even if your primary method fails.

Do you provide overnight care?

Royal Paws Pet Sitting offers two overnight care options tailored to your pet’s needs:

Overnight Stay: A dedicated Care Team member will stay at your home for 10 continuous hours, usually from 9 pm to 7 am. They will provide personalized care for your pets at bedtime and in the morning before departing. If you have dogs, this service requires additional visits during the daytime for walks and exercise.

Bed & Breakfast: Our “almost overnight” option provides evening and morning care for your pets. A Care Team member will spend 2 hours at your home in the evening and return in the morning for breakfast, potty breaks, and playtime.

Both options ensure your pets receive attentive care and companionship, allowing you to rest easy knowing they are in good hands.

Do you board animals?

We only provide in-home pet care and believe pets are most comfortable in their own environment. Overnight and vacation visits are an ideal and cost effective option for pets with separation anxiety, aging animals, and multi pet homes. These services are very popular. How do I schedule a meet and greet?

Submit this brief form, and we will contact you to schedule a meeting with a Leadership Team member ASAP!

During the meet and greet, we will confirm and review the pertinent information about your home and your pet care routine and answer any of your questions.

Meeting new furry family members is the best part of our job!

Can I meet my sitter or dog walker in advance?

The initial meet-and-greet with the Leadership Team is FREE. We will confirm and review the pertinent information about your home and pet care routine (e.g., feeding instructions, medications, special requests, etc.) and answer all of your questions.

We are happy to schedule additional visits for you to meet your sitter or dog walker for $15. The sitter receives 100% of this fee.

If your pet is shy or has stranger danger fears, we can arrange for more than one meeting to ensure everyone is well acquainted and comfortable with each other.

What if my regular sitter isn’t available?

We’re here for your furry companions 24/7 and 365!

To ensure seamless and consistent care, you’ll typically be assigned 1-2 dedicated Care Team members who have access to your pet’s specific information and routine. They collaborate closely to ensure a smooth transition of care should one of them be unavailable.

Can I choose what time and how frequently the sitter visits when we are away from home?

Yes!

Walk and Visit Timeframes:

Early Morning 7 am – 9 am
Morning visits 9 am – 11 am
Mid day visits 11 am – 2 pm
Afternoon 2 pm – 4 pm
Evening visits 4 pm – 7 pm
Bedtime visits 8 pm – 9 pm

We offer 20 minute, 30 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute visits. You choose the length of the visits and can mix and match to meet your pet’s specific needs.

Do you need a shorter timeframe? We will do our best to accommodate your request (within the hour).

Need a specific arrival time? Not a problem! We will be there within a 15-minute timeframe for an additional $5 per visit

Do you offer a discount for weekly recurring visits?

YES!! $2 off per visit for walks scheduled at least 5 days per week

Can I give my payment directly to the sitter?

You can leave a cash tip for your sitter! However, payment for services must be made by credit card through the Time to Pet app. Payment is due before the start of service.

Should I tip?

As with any personal service, tipping is a customary way to show your appreciation for exceptional care. While tips are never expected, they are always gratefully received. You can leave a separate tip for them at your home or include it with your invoice. Click the big blue tip button.

What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt?

Our team is trained to handle emergencies and have direct access to our Leadership Team for immediate support and guidance.

In the event of an emergency, we are connected to veterinarians and emergency clinics and will ensure your pet receives prompt and appropriate care. We will make every effort to contact you as soon as your pet is safe and update you on the situation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Because I understand what it is like to have a busy and ever-changing schedule, I have implemented an extremely flexible cancellation policy:

Mid Day Dog Walks (for those that use us on a weekly continuous basis):
24+ hours notice = 100% refund,
< 24 hour notice = no refund

Pet Sitting and Kitty & Small Animal Care:
One week+ notice = 100% refund,
5-6 day notice = 65% refund,
3-4 day notice = 50% refund
< 48 hr. notice = no refund

Overnight Care:
Two weeks + notice = 100% refund
10-13 days notice = 65% refund
5-9 day notice = 50% refund
< 4 days notice = no refund

We adhere to a strict policy of NO OVERBOOKING. Therefore, we will turn away business once you have contracted services to accommodate your schedule. You will be charged for all visits and overnights without a proper cancellation notice.

Holiday Cancellation Policy for Overnights, Almost Overnights, and Pet Care Bookings:
30+ days = 100% refund
15-30 days = 50% refund
< 14 days = no refund

Are there holiday rates?

Holiday Rates are in effect for the following: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day

Holiday Rates:

Walks – additional $15
Drop Ins – additional $15
Overnights – additional $25
100% of the holiday fee goes to the sitter
